Our Sunday in Cambridge

Cambridge is a beautiful city, not over big and with the amenities of a University City. Its' unique setting on the bank of River Cam, the "backs" and the magnificent architecture of the University buildings all combine to make Cambridge the most unforgettable place, one which will linger long in our memory.

The University of Cambridge has 31 colleges. We visited the Chapel at Kings College and we were Punting in the River.

So morning began like this...

And in the afternoon we were visiting King's College Chapel.

King's College (1441) was founded by Henry VI and Kings College Chapel is the jewel in the crown of the college and of Cambridge itself, a magnificent example of Gothic architecture.
There we could learn about some kings' lives...

 Some interesting history details...

 Take pictures while it's raining...

and with our international group during a sunny moment :)))
